George and the Door.

After breakfast, I presented George with a challenge. How to enter in the access code to enter our apartment.  I had to giggle as he struggled for a few seconds before I divulged the secret.  I then made him shoot this video. He was so proud to show off his new found skills! :-)

George's First Views of Seoul.

At Gyeonbokgung Palace.

George and I started our first day together in Korea with breakfast at a Starbuck's located just a short walk from our apartment. Such a difference from last night when we had a quick bite at a local restaurant also a short walk from the apartment.

He Made It!

George is finally here!!   I was glad that he had arrived safely and at the same time, relieved that his incessant texting was finally over.  I had told George to simply text me when he landed at Incheon Airport but he had to text me every step of the way on his journey from the US to Korea.  My phone was pinging with the gazillion text messages he was sending me.  Yes, he pays for internet access on the plane so even when he's flying, he's texting me!!  Love the guy but so not necessary to know his every move!

Lunch at Sanchon.

Before saying goodbye to Jogyesa Temple, I made a quick stop at the Information Center,  located nearby, to confirm directions to my next destination - a restaurant called Sanchon which specializes in Buddhist temple cuisine.
