Homeward bound.

Today, we're headed home.  As always, I'm looking forward to going home and being able to sleep in my own bed but at the same time, I'm sad that the trip is coming to and end.  It's been a wonderful trip and as usual, I leave with a wealth of precious memories.

Our last views of Casablanca was of the Casa Voyageurs train station.  Not exactly exciting I know but most travel days are not.

Soon and I were at the train station there well ahead of our 9:05a departure time.

The station was busy with the daily commuters on their way to work as well travelers.  We patiently waited on the platform.

The train pretty much came and left on time.  We got our seats.  As the train chugged along, I looked out the window and watched the landscape of Morocco go by until we arrived at the airport.

There, we went through the usual routine that we all have to go through to get on a plane.

A lot of hours later, we would land at JFK where we had a 4 hour layover before we would board the shuttle plane back to DC.

We landed at Reagan National Airport well after midnight.  I was tired but I still had a Super Shuttle ride to take before getting home.  It was close to 2am by the time my head hit the pillow.  I fell asleep with visions of Morocco in my head.  What a nice way to fall asleep!

"Goodbye Morocco and thanks for the memories! "
